Nominations for Appointment and Reappointment

The Statewide Judicial Nominating Commission met August 17, 2020. The following were nominated for reappointment:

• Honorable Frank Clark (FTM)
• Honorable Thomas Hedler (WPB)
• Honorable Gregory Johnsen (WPB)
• Honorable Keef Owens (PSL)
• Honorable Jonathan Walker (PNS)

The following were nominated for appointment to the TPA District to replace Judge Young who will transfer to District SPT upon the retirement of JCC Rosen. 

• Jessica Carrier; Office of Florida Judges of Compensation Claims, Sarasota.
• Todd J. Sanders; Florida First District Court, Tallahassee.
• Matthew B. Wheeley; Carlson, Meissner, Hart and Hayslett, Odessa.

New Commission-appointed Commissioners were appointed as follows:

• Fourth DCA position - Thomas James Stanford, private mediator, North Palm Beach, FL
• Fifth DCA position - Charlie Bailes, ABC Fine Wine and Spirits, Orlando, FL
