Proof of Coverage Improvements

The Division of Workers' Compensation is excited to announce an updated Proof of Coverage search application to the Search Our Data portal on the Division’s website effective on July 8, 2020.  The changes to the Coverage section include: A new look and updated functionality for the Proof of Coverage application which will incorporate and combine the current Policy Search application into it The WC Policy Search application will be removed from the portal Automatically displays last 5 years of coverage data received at the Division and provides 10 years of coverage history based on the employer’s FEIN Provides for searches to be made on Employer Name, FEIN, Policy Number, Effective Date, Expiration Date and County Provides a downloadable list of data A new Exemption Search application will also be added to the Search Our Data portal on the Division’s website at the same time. This application will allow users to search for officers of a corporation or members of a limited liability company who have excluded themselves from workers’ compensation coverage, and will allow users to do the following: Search by Exemption Holder Name, Employer Name or FEIN Searches can also be filtered by construction or non-construction industry Links the employer name field to the Proof of Coverage application to search for policy information and history Provides a downloadable list of data Please direct all other questions regarding proof of coverage to the Customer Service Unit, (850) 413-1609 or workers.compservice@fldfs.com.   To navigate to our Search Our Data page, please click the button below:
